Media Reviews

For those Network members that provide front end login access to their member organizations or for those site administrators who enter media links themselves via the Media Reviews tool on the control panel, this page provides a complete digest of all those links.

This new feature is a great way to provide added value to your users, your member/constituent organizations, and your media partners.

 

Meta Tags

How do I add meta tags to my site?

• Login to your admin control panel
• Click on the Tools tab
• Click the Meta Tags link
• Click the Add button

Available Fields:

1) URL field: Type the URL page you want to add meta tags to.

Example: If you want to add meta tags for the Theatre category page, type "event/cat/theatre" in the URL field.

All Network websites should have at least one meta tag set up for the home page "index.php" - if you do not see a meta tag entry for "index.php" please contact networksupport@artsopolis.com.

2) Title field: The title tag specifies the title of your Web page and can be found at the top of your browser in the title bar and should be kept between 60 - 90 characters in length (Google currently displays only approximately 65 characters of the title).

3) Description field: Give a brief description of your page in this tag. Bear in mind that this description (or part of it) will be displayed in the search engine results so try to make sure you phrase it in such a way that the person searching can tell at a glance that the user has found the correct page for his search.

4) Keyword field: Type specific keywords that pertain to this category page.

• Click Save

Mobile Site

This tool allows you to customize the mobile version of your site. You have the ability to upload/edit your logo and footer plus add a ticker message, top banner and bottom banner.
 

Poll

This tool helps you create easy online polls right on your website. Poll links can be added to your ad banners, newsletters and emails, and responses are tracked to prevent duplicate votes.

Redirect Links

How do I convert a lengthy URL into a concise one?

• Control Panel / Tools tab
• Click on Redirect Links
• Click the Add button
• Type the new alternative URL
• Type the actual URL
• Click Save

 

BeDynamic Import

This import tool is only available to site that use BeDynamic for their content management.

Manage Blog

This Blog tool allows you to create and manage an unlimited number of blogs and blog postings. Each blog posting allows for a title, author and date stamp of when the blog posting was created. Each blog posting allows you to add text and upload related graphics. The most recent blog posting will always appear at the top of the blog page

Select "Create Blog" to get started.
